HITEN TEJWANI ON HIS MULTIPLE TV PROJECTS AND WHAT KEPT HIM AWAY FROM BOLLYWOOD UNLIKE HIS CONTEMPORARIES RAM KAPOOR AND RONIT ROY

Hiten Tejwani has been around for more than a decade now, however it seems there is no stopping this actor. Hiten, who is currently working in Hamari Sister Didi and Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi has been doing multiple shows at a time but he isn't complaining. ' See when you're very passionate about something, then it isn't really that difficult. As an actor, I feel lucky that I am getting to portray so many characters together. Of course, it's a challenge to do so many roles in different ways and also do justice with them. But ultimately if you manage to do that, then your job is done,' Hiten says. Hiten's character in Humari Sister Didi exists only in the memories of the female protagonist played by Pariva Pranati. His character is otherwise dead. So is it difficult to play such a role? ' Honestly when I started playing the character, I thought it would be a little difficult and of course it's challenging but now I can say I have pulled it off well,' Hiten adds. So with so many professional commitments at hand, how much time does he manage to spare at home with wife Gauri and his two kids? ' Oh very little, but whatever time I get, I make sure to spend it completely at home. At that point, everything else is kept aside,' Hiten says. While Hiten's contemporaries like Ram Kapoor and Ronit Roy have done many films in the past, Hiten has been missing from the big screen from quite a while. Clarifying on the same, he says, ' I am looking out for a good script. But it isn't that I am deliberately staying away from films. In fact I am doing two movies and if everything goes fine, then you'll see me soon on the big screen.' So just like his colleagues from the TV world, is he okay with working in multi- starrer films? ' If I get a good script then why not? But for now I am so committed to TV that it's difficult to take time out for films,' Hiten says. He also hasn't done a reality for a long time. ' I really want to do Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. I was even offered the show earlier but things didn't work out,' Hiten adds. And with Khatron Ke Khiladi 6 just around the corner, would he accept the show if it comes to his kitty? ' I was offered the show this time and would have loved to be a part of it but unfortunately my dates didn't match,' Hiten says. Hiten Tejwani
